I feel like giving up

After everything going wrong, hitting brick wall after brick wall with the mobile application I have been concentrating my efforts on developing the mock application and the website, this has gone fine until I have come to using PHP and Flash together. I am using this on this project and another project and quite simply I just don't get it, nothing works and there does not seem to be any progress. I need help big style but I have tried to develop different parts of the project every time I hit a problem and now I don't know where to start and thus the chance of having a finished piece are looking slim, I wish I had chosen an easier project that I could hve made easily to a high standard instead I have aimed high and its going to be a messy crash at the bottom.
